MAGNETIC SENSOR FOR WEFT BREAK DETECTION IN POWER LOOMS

WITH MAGIC LAMP

This sensor is used for detecting weft breaks in looms is a pioneering, revolutionary concept being introduced in India for the Power-loom industry. This model provides a direct, reliable & long-life replacement for the conventional photo-reflective sensors.

It operates on a 24V AC / DC power source, using a set of 4 magnets & a sensor unit. Whenever weft break occurs, it activates a potential free relay contact. These contacts are used to activate emergency stoppage of the loom to correct the weft break. It resets automatically upon restoration of the loom. A Magic Lamp is also provided on it to indicate the healthy / fault condition of the loom.

It can be directly installed on the Power-loom along with its high power magnet. The remote alarm signal is transmitted through a built in 4-core cable to a activate emergency stoppage of the loom.
